Holly Chagnon is the Founder and Principal Designer at Opal Avenue Interior Design, LLC.

From a young age, her love for interior design was evident in the way she would constantly rearrange the furniture in her bedroom and enthusiastically decorate for all her family holidays and special events. And not just that—growing up with a father who is a general contractor, she often accompanied him to his job sites, eager to learn and assist wherever she could. It was on one of these job sites that she had a pivotal moment. As she observed the space, she couldn't help but think, "This is why everyone should hire an interior designer." The home lacked functionality, aesthetic appeal, and specialty reinforcing her belief that everyone deserves to live in a home that not only makes them feel fabulous but also enhances their quality of life. These experiences deepened her understanding of the importance of well-thought-out design in everyday living.

This belief is now at the core of her interior design philosophy: Every day deserves to be celebrated. She believes in not saving things for a "special occasion," because if the present moment isn’t special, then what is? Luxurious living doesn’t have to be reserved for rare moments; it can be appreciated daily. Why wait to use the fine chinaware? Why not open that cherished bottle of wine at a random Tuesday night dinner? Why not set a table where it makes every meal feel like an event? Your home should reflect this principle—where the best things are always within reach. She designs spaces that exude luxury and encourage you to live fully in the moment and fully in your story.

Holly’s design mind is heavily influenced by enthralling, atmospheric spaces that seamlessly blend luxury with comfort, each one crafted to suit its distinct setting. She artfully plays with traditional and modern elements while leaving room for unexpected details that transform each design into a visually captivating fusion. She likes to say, “If it feels daring or bold, it's a good thing,” and she lovingly encourages her clients to explore beyond their design boundaries, embracing a new level of sophistication.

Holly is a graduate of the New York Institute of Art and Design. Later, she obtained her Residential Interior Design Qualifying Certification (RIDQC) through the Designer Society of America (DSA).

She is a New England native, only recently transplanting to Arizona in 2022, following her fiancé’s work in the fast-paced football industry. When she’s not designing, Holly loves traveling, immersing herself in the outdoors, cooking, taking amateur photography, and being with the ones closest to her heart.
